Havells India Ltd, announced of its overseas acquisition of SLI Sylvania, a leading global designer and provider of lighting systems. It was the largest acquisition by an Indian electrical products company, Havells Netherlands BV, a Netherlands incorporated subsidiary of Havells, signed an agreement with SLI Holdings Inc., to acquire SLI Sylvania's lighting business¹ at an aggregate purchase price of US$300mn.
